Bali 4.1

The Bali 4.1 was a terrific catamaran for our group of 6. The different comfortable spaces on board and stable nature of the cat made it a much better proposition than our initial idea of a yacht. We cruised the islands in the Saronic Gulf, each one providing a wonderful taste of Greek island life. The local operator is a relatively small family company that provided excellent personalised service. They provided a clean and sturdy boat, their communication excellent, and their nominated captain Dimitris was outstanding. He was a fine seaman, humorous, personable, and went out of his way to be helpful with everything. We outlined to him our goals when we first met him, and he negotiated an outstanding itinerary with us. During the voyage, he always gave us options and sought feedback. His experience and advice were invaluable. He was even a great cook, whipping up a couple of outstanding luncheons. Our trip was an absolute joyful experience, elevated by the professionalism in all aspects of the trip and Dimitri’s magic!

Tres bonne équipe qui était à l’écoute, hyper reactive et nous a utilement accompagne dans cette premiere experience de croisière. Bateau tres bien entretenu et équipé. Équipage sympathique et professionnel, en particulier l’hôtesse qui était discrete, efficace, serviable, gentille avec les enfants et tres attentionnée.

We had a wonderful time with Constance, John and their team of Yachts Society. From booking until check out we had a personalized service: chatting directly with the owners, asking for good spots to spend the night at anchor and nice restaurants. We sailed on Romar, a Bali 4.1 that was very well equipped: solar panels, generator, AC, a large bimini, many places to sit and lay (even at the back of the boat). The sails were in very good shape as well. I’ve been sailing for the past 6 years several times a year and I can say it’s the best service I’ve ever had. Thanks again John, Constance and team for the perfect management. Planning to come back in August !
