Extraordinary welcome from Charter Asia Marine at Phuket Haven Marina. Check-in and navigation briefing were well done, with patience and absolute availability from the staff. Excellent assistance at the dock from the charter staff, both on departure and return.
Aspects I didn't like about the boat (Hanse 385):
- Expired emergency flares on board. I asked to replace them with new ones.
- The furler broke on the first attempt to open the genoa: good assistance on the same day to repair it.
- Freshwater pump connection broke, causing a few liters of water to end up on the floor of the forward cabin and in the bilge. I fixed it by replacing the metal clamps.
- The outboard tank was empty. My fault for not checking it on the first use; we returned to the boat by rowing.
- Onboard electronics are outdated and screens worn out, making it difficult to see the indications well.
