Last sailed pre kids 17 years ago, only sailed monohull boats but this time we took out a Lagoon 42 ft catamaran, just us and the skipper arrange by the local charter company - it was totally fantastic. Amber at GlobeSailor was super helpful , I spoke to most of the yacht brokers linked with Greece but thought GlobeSailor were the best.
I people highly recommend GlobeSailor and the saronic and most of all Elvin the Skipoer . Will be re-booking again next year the same line up. Great experience to share as a family !

I highly recommend chartering with this charter company out of Agios Kosmas marina. The marina is convenient for the airport, smaller than other local marinas like Alimos with mainly larger boats and more space for manoeuvring. While it has few facilities, the operator make it very easy to arrange transport to the local supermarket for provisioning and airport transfer. Check in processes were quick and professional. Boat itself was mechanically perfect and well maintained. Only minor gripes are fairly basic spec - e.g. no aircon (which we didn’t need) and lack of plotter or multi function display in the saloon. Meaning we could only monitor wind etc. from the helm. Also some missing basic domestic equipment such as a chopping board. Didn’t detract from a fantastic week b

Almost everything was perfect! A great boat, a perfect skipper and a week of gorgeous weather in the Saronic Gulf (whereas the Cyclads were very windy). We were extremely lucky to have a very skilled skipper also possessed by Olympic calm to guide us through the islands. He suggested plenty of idyllic creeks to enjoy the sea and we also could use the sail a few times, which is the best.

Do not forget to buy floating devices likes noodles or water wings, seasickness pills and plenty of bottled water.

The only thing that could have been improved is the departure time. We waited 3 hours in the sun (no place to sit near the boats, no shadow!) while the boat was getting ready.
