Having no experience with charters in Croatia, I had doubts about whether everything would go as promised. But after several phone contacts with the competent managers of GlobeSailor and the charter company 'Mayer', I regained confidence. The boat was very good, no problems during the 9 days of rental, the procedure at the beginning and end of the charter (reporting any damages) was understandable, and the deposit (€1,000) was refunded to my account within 24 hours. Note for improvement: I had counted on a radio in case of distress, which was not on board, and there was a missing sonar (a function normally present on the very good SIMRAD navigation system on board). My rating = 18/20. Very good.

Being the the closest Island to Split, It's perfect to rent a boat for a daytrip to the hidden bays of Solta! Visit the glorious old town and ravish it's historical aesthetic. Many spectacular events take place here every year. For example the Pulling of the Island, called Mrduja. The Islanders couldn’t decide whether Mrduja belonged to Brac or Solta so they organised an annual game of Tug of War where hundreds of boaters from both sides get together and pull Mrduja closer to their hometowns! An amazing sight for any holiday maker!
