Good boat, nice people who care

Local operator are actually lovely and they care. Once you get past the slight brusque approach necessitated by a peak season pressure you realise that the whole team are dedicated to make you charter perfect. From the morning Luka spent fettling the yacht - including a new main sheet to the replacement outboard driven down the coast from Sibenik to Kremik, nothing is too much trouble.
The Hanse 505 is a fast sailing yacht with plenty of space. This particular boat is starting to show a little wear and tear, but still OK. Kike knows this boat inside out and works very hard to make it a pleasure to sail.
Mandalina is a big Marina, worth a walk to the Superyacht basin for a little daydreaming too. Parking can be a little intense but there is usually space to park further down the Marina. Its a good base, close enough to both the Split area and islands to the south, the southern Kornati and with lots of little places to explore, anchor and swim just outside the Sibenik Canal

Sibenik

Mandalina Marina is situated in the town of Sibenik, on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia, halfway between the two international airports of Zadar and Split. From Zadar or Split, it will take you about 40 to 55 minutes to get to Sibenik and its marina. Located only 2 kilometres away from the town centre, this marina is known to be one of the safest ports in the bay of Sibenik due to its location, which is naturally protected from all types of winds.
