Oceanis 38

I've chartered an Oceanis 38 (2015 built) in Sicily, weekend in October and I was happy with everything

- Quote came quickly
- Excellent boat, nearly new sails, very clean, everything working perfectly
- Good charter company, quick check in and attentive staff.
- Excellent facilities at the marina, apart from several stores closed due to the low season
- No wind unfortunately... but plenty of sun

Le bassin de navigation permet d'accéder à plusieurs îles relativement proches et méritant toutes une visite.
L'accueil était très chaleureux.
Le check-in était vraiment complet tant sur le bateau, qui était en très bon état, que sur le bassin de navigation.
Le personnel était très disponible. Une très bonne expérience !
Un seul regret, il y avait peu de vent. En revanche, le temps était magnifique.

Obwohl ich nur noch ein ältere Yacht gefunden habe, war ich positiv überrascht vom Zustand des Schiffes und vom zuverlässigen Service der daran gemacht wird.
Unsere Ferien waren durch nichts getrübt, gerne komme ich nochmals hierhin und mit dieser SY.

(September 2016) We had a great time sailing around the Eolian Islands in the low season: strongly recommended!
The boat is in a perfect state, inside is very comfortable even with 6 people on board and it's fully-equipped, from the kitchen to the first-aid kit, including safety equipment and reparation tools.
The engine consume is modest (you will need it a bit for the island), the sails and their adjustment possibilites are very good for a boat of this type: when the wind was blowing we were able to do some "serious" sailing.
The outside area is perfect for a relaxed lunch under the sun (or with wind) thanks to the protection in front and above, Table and seats are big enought for 6 people, but for big waves you can even take apart the table!
Auto pilot is great if you learn to use it, e.g. we had breakfast while sailing relaxed...it was a very good feeling!
People at the renting company are very very friendly, competent and honest. They offered us telephone assistance during the whole week and many extras (e.g. information, toilet access, reparations, almost all our wishes...) that would have been not compulsory.
I would definitely book again with them!
