How to Get to Newport, Rhode Island?

Newport, Rhode Island is serviced by two airports. The smaller of the two, Newport State Airport, caters for smaller airlines and domestic routes – ideal if you are already located close to Rhode Island. If you are travelling from further afield, Theodore Francis Green Memorial State Airport (PVD) oversees larger international routes. There are no train links directly to Newport, however there is a bus service which operates on Route 14 totaling a 40-minute journey. Taxis and airport transfers are also available to reach your chartered sailboat.
