An excellent week in friendly croatia

Even if the ship was not in perfect condition we fell in love in it because of its great sailing behaviour

The service at Olive Island was very good both before our arrival as during the week

We did get some problems with the anchor winch but this was fixed without any delay.

We Will return to Chroatia to see more of this country , that is for sure!

Cruise on the dalmatian coast

We had a dream vacation, the weather was with us as well as the boat to take us there. From the start, the rental company showed their dedication to meet our needs for this cruise that started at Olive Island. Although the boat was not brand new, it was well maintained. We sailed quite a bit from island to island, especially in anchorages and a few ports for supplies. Avoid the marinas made especially for the wealthy: no comments. The Croats, despite the excessive tourism, can be a bit rough, but if you manage to make yourself understood, they are actually nice. The approach to the islands is basic, so you have to manage with what you find... But on vacation in this heat, it's mostly salads, pasta, cheese, olives, and a few cans of ham, and bread, what more do you need!!! From Zadar to Sibenik, there are enough islands and anchorages to stay for several weeks. The ascent of the KRKA river is a must, and seeing the waterfalls beyond Skradin. Avoid sailing at night as there are quite a few small rocks just below the water that are not lit!!! For us, we will return when the onboard cash is afloat again. JP
