Great cruise

David Jul 2025

Finally, a charter company that honours an early checkout payment by having the boat ready to depart on time. Also, allowing us to leave the marina on Friday night to make a flight connection on return. I also liked the way they trusted us with the checkout and didn't spend an hour going over the boat.

The marina however is remotely located with no facilities (restaurant, showers, laundry etc). Getting a taxi on departure was quite difficult but the charter company were great and managed to order one for us. That could be a deterrent to some.

The only issue with the boat was the fridge door fell off on day 2 (a previous repair had been done), however the freezer turned out to be sufficient for our needs.

For any other enquiries, we sailed from Pireaus to Perdika (Aegina), Poros, Mandraki (Hydra), Spetses, Vlychos (Hydra), Perdika and back. Days not too long and avoided the busy ports of Aegina and Hydra.

I rate the service of the owner 5/5. GlobeSailor's service 5/5. The technical condition of the unit 4/5 (the toilet was not sealed, unpleasant smell, and the unit was poorly cleaned). The yacht pickup was quite efficient. Bedding and small purchases were a nice surprise. 5/5. The port, like a port in Greece, 3/5. The yacht's return was efficient 5/5.

Attractiveness of the destination 4/5.

The yacht was fast and maneuverable, the anchor held very well. Fuel consumption for 7 days of charter was 52L, which may be a lot, but that's how much they filled it to the brim.

A week through the cyclades

With the Sea Spark, we had a perfect boat for four men. Even though the taxi driver didn't find the marina right away, it is only a few kilometers from the airport and can be reached quickly for about €30. The entire process at the base from check-in to check-out was excellently organized and trouble-free. I gladly recommend both the ship and the base.

I was very satisfied with the rental of the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 47.9 at Agios Kosmas Marina (Athens) from Navigare Yachting. The boat pickup was quite quick, as was the return. There were no technical problems during the week. The boats are in good condition. The company provides a free car with a driver for trips to the supermarket. The boat had excellent internet and daily weather updates.
Overall, I give it a 5.

Saronic gulf trip

Mircea-Adrian May 2019

The marina where you check in/out is spacious not so crowded like Alimos. Also I was very impressed with the professional attitude of the local operator, we had a broken anchor winch in the 3rd day and they directed us to a marina that was on our route and put the spare part to arrive with the fast ferryboat so in a couple of hours they identified the broken part, send it and replace it. Beautiful islands and very nice marinas in the Saronic Islands, especially Hydra. All in all I would definitely recommend to book a boat with them.
