Great service, full satisfaction

Both the service from GlobeSailor and the local charter company were excellent. The boat was not chartered the week before, and we appreciated the opportunity to complete the entire check-in on Friday afternoon and bring our groceries on board. The boat was spotless, and we had no technical issues. Refueling was done with a fuel truck that came to the dock.
I give a clear recommendation and a thank you for the great service.

Very nice cruise in chalcidice in a beautiful region

Our experience with the rental company is the best in over 30 years of sailing: attentive, very professional, very quick procedures, welcome gifts and end-of-rental gifts... nothing to complain about.
The 5-year-old boat is in almost new condition, a testament to careful maintenance: clean hull, new sails, complete equipment.
Due to insufficient wind (the thermal wind rises late around noon and stops around 4 PM) and not wanting to make long trips by engine, we did not visit the island of Limnos, and the sailing area of Sithonia and Mount Athos is a bit too small for 2 weeks of cruising.
Overall, a serene and relaxing cruise, remarkable rental company.

Very nice boat that sails well.
Almost new boat... well equipped with associated leisure elements.
Moreover, the sailing area is very beautiful and there is a constant wind... at least during this period.
Thank you.

Departure from nikiti

In one week, you can easily tour the Sithonia peninsula with beautiful anchorages and sail along the west coast of Mount Athos (2033m) with its exceptional monasteries.

For a longer trip, the northern Sporades are accessible, although it requires a bit of a long crossing.

The boat (Dufour 382) was in very good condition and "sailed" very well. Nothing was missing on board.

The company is very well organized with staff on the dock to take care of us. Upon return, there were 4 people and a zodiac to assist with the maneuvering!

The airport transfer to Nikiti is just perfect: a recent and suitable vehicle, a French-speaking guide, a stop at the supermarket with the guide's advice on choosing products, and a stop at a local fruit and vegetable producer.

Yiannis is French-speaking, competent, helpful, and available, a pleasure to work with.

A destination to promote, little known to the French (but not to the Germans and Slavs) that can be combined with a visit to Thessaloniki (2-3 days), the Meteora, Kastoria, Vergina ...

An authentic greece

Overall, the rating is 5 stars, especially for the hospitality, availability, and expertise of Danai, her father, and the entire Kavala Yachting team. The boat is a few years old, and it is certainly difficult to compare it with newer boats typically found for bareboat charters, but aside from a few minor defects due to age, it still has good seaworthy qualities and sails well both under sail and motor. The places to visit by boat may be fewer and farther away compared to the classic areas of the Ionian or Cycladic Greece, the Sporades, or the Dodecanese, but they are equally fascinating and definitely less crowded (from the sea), except for the Chalkidiki peninsula, which, although beautiful, also has a lot of tourism (especially day-trippers).

Great boat and excellent service at the base

Comfortable and functional boat. Maneuvers well under engine and sail with good performance. A cart for the mainsail sheet would be a useful upgrade.
Conditions of the interiors and exteriors are more than satisfactory for a boat that has been chartering for 2 years.
Check-in at the base in Nikiti was punctual, quick, efficient, and friendly.

Beautiful cruise in the sporades

Great rental service (transfer, welcome, explanations...) in Nikiti (airport = Thessaloniki) and northern Greece is beautiful.
It is really worth taking a nice sailing trip to the Sporades (Skopelos, Alonivisos, Giouria...)
A magical anchorage: Planitis Bay in Kira Panagia.
