Motor noise while sailing

Friendly reception from the landlord on site. We were informed that we could arrive earlier because the boat was already ready. Unfortunately, that was not the case, as it had to be cleaned and checked first, so we arrived at 12:00 but could only take over the boat at 15:30. There were problems with the wind indicator. The electronic connection between the main device and the side devices had to be re-established repeatedly because the total power supply on the boat was turned off. Only then did the devices connect properly with the main device. The service batteries of the boat were old, so the battery indicator quickly became so weak that we had to run the engine even while sailing to charge the batteries. The refrigerator had to be turned off, and we could not use the autopilot for extended periods because it drew too much power. After we had prepared the boat and it was checked at the dock, we still had to make a final payment at the office and had to wait for a good hour due to the crowd. We were neither offered nor received any compensation for the engine running overtime to charge the battery.

Nice charter company

Very nice contact with the charter company. The unit is well maintained. It is clear that it has been checked by mechanics. During the handover, there was a thorough discussion of the equipment. Then, when returning the boat, there were no tricks or attempts to catch on the deposit. A great place for less experienced skippers who want to cruise around Rügen, but also for veterans who want to jump across the Baltic to Sweden and Denmark. Prices are like everywhere else.

We were welcomed at Marina Breege by a large and professional charter company and the owner of many excellent yachts! We had the opportunity to charter an excellent Bavaria Cruiser 46, practically new. The excellent yacht and professional service make me recommend the company from Breege to everyone interested who expects professional service and high-quality yachts!

Somewhat hidden, the charter port was located behind a large hall. The boat pickup was uncomplicated. Shopping facilities were 150 m away. Good sanitary facilities and bread service :)
The next trip is practically booked. As long as Corona allows it.
