Great experience on the elan e6

Very cool boat.
Sails top, lines top.

Negative: 1. During check-in, we were made to wait unnecessarily long before we could board the boat; neither technical nor cleaning staff were on the boat, and we had to do the check-in ourselves.
2. When we first anchored, the front block flew away, and we couldn't retrieve the anchor and had to wait for the mechanic.
3. The shower head broke off from the outside shower, and they demanded 240 euros; we agreed on 100 euros without a receipt, otherwise, we would have had to pay VAT as well.

Loved our week in croatia

Sean Jun 2026

The sailboat was as described. In very good condition. We sailed about 200 km in our one week charter. Everything functioned well with a few minor issues on an anchor light fault and the fuel gauge but the marina was notified and should have addressed post return to the marina.

The essential main boat components, sails, motor, winches, sheets, nav, autopilot, anchor all worked perfect.

The air conditioning worked very well when docked at a marina.

The galley equipment all worked very well.

The heads and showers worked fine and having heated shower on the swim platform was so nice.

The ACI Split Marina was good and we did not overnight so no comments on the facilities. There are restaurants right near and two supermarkets within short walk/ taxi for provisioning.

We stayed at ACI Palmizana, Vis and Milna Marinas and found them to be excellent. Vis and Milna were our favorite towns. Palmizana was our favorite marina.

Hello Sean,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such detailed feedback following your charter.

I'm delighted to hear that the yacht met your expectations and that she performed so well throughout your week on the water. It’s great to know that all of the key sailing systems functioned reliably and that you were able to enjoy a smooth and comfortable cruising experience. I'm also pleased that you found the air conditioning, galley equipment, and onboard facilities to be of a high standard.

It was also a real pleasure speaking with you on the phone and hearing about the wonderful week you shared with your family. It sounds like you created some truly special memories together, and I'm so pleased that your charter was such a rewarding experience.

It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed exploring the Croatian coast and that Palmizana, Vis and Milna were particular highlights of your itinerary.

Thank you again for your valuable feedback. It was a pleasure assisting you with your charter, and I hope we have the opportunity to help you plan another sailing holiday with your family in the future.

Kind regards,

Ruby

A very nice and comfortable little yacht equipped with everything you need. Ideal for 6 people 😎. Very good communication with the owner. Very flexible approach (we had a delayed flight and arrived at the marina late at night) but the yacht was waiting for us.

Good boat for a good destination

A successful cruise! The boat was very well equipped and impeccable; we had no technical incidents. The welcome was efficient. We had a rental car and took care of the provisioning ourselves, but access near the boats is complicated. The destination itself is exceptional, especially a bit off-season (second half of September).

If it weren't for the weather, the trip would have been perfect

The service from the charter company was fantastic, the yacht was in excellent condition, prepared without any faults. Unfortunately, the weather was exceptionally disappointing. But that's an act of God, and there's no place to file a complaint.

It was a very nice adventure. Both GlobeSailor and the charter company were very nice, helpful, and accommodating. The check-in was carried out efficiently and thoroughly. There were also no problems when returning the boat. Although the boat is 7 years old, it is in very good condition, except for the air conditioning, which did not work, but to be honest, we didn't really need it during this period.
I recommend both the companies and the boat.
