Sail to Bora Bora in complete bliss. Spend four days in paradise between thrilling snorkeling sites, dazzling beaches and amazing anchorages!

Day 1 : Raiatea - Taha'a
Reception at the airport and transfer to the marina. Board your catamaran at 1pm. The crew will introduce themselves and explain the itinerary. Your captain heads for Motu Mahaea for water activities: swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. Visit a vanilla farm. Dinner on board and overnight at anchor.

Day 2 : Tahah'a - Bora Bora
Your catamaran heads towards motu Tau Tau. After, exploring the coral garden, your captain takes you to Apu Bay to visit a pearl farm. Sail to Bora Bora. Have lunch and anchor at Motu Topua to explore the seabed in snorkeling. During crossing, the crew goes trolling. Enjoy the fresh catch for dinner and overnight at anchor.

Day 3 : Bora Bora Lagoon
In the morning, you will visit the village of Vaitape, the capital of the island. You will travel on the famed Motu Road to make your way back to the lagoon. After lunch on board, you have the opportunity to visit the lagoonarium (optional), a natural aquarium where you will swim with manta rays, thousands of fish from Polynesian lagoons and sea turtles. Night at anchor.

Day 4 : Bora Bora Lagoon
Sail towards Motu Piti for snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters of Bora Bora. Disembark in the late morning.

Frequently asked questions

  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

    To confirm your reservation, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will make an option for you until you receive your deposit. The reservation will only be considered final once your deposit has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) from 30 to 50% of the amount of the reservation. A 100% deposit will be required for any reservation less than one month before departure. The balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the boarding.
  • What currency is used in Polynesia?

    The Tahiti currency is the same currency used in all of French Polynesia. The Franc of the “Compagnie Française du Pacifique” or Pacific French Company is most commonly called the French Pacific Franc.
  • How is my tranfer from the airport to the boat organized?

    Some of our privatized cruises include transfers between the airport and the boarding base. Check the terms and conditions of your quotation carefully. On request, your GlobeSailor advisor and the base manager can arrange your transfer by taxi or private vehicle. Payment for this service is generally to be made to GlobeSailor at the time of payment of the balance or directly on site in cash. Don't forget to forward your arrival times to your advisor.
  • What vaccines should I have to travel to Polynesia?

    The CDC and WHO recommend the following vaccinations for French Polynesia: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, typhoid, yellow fever, rabies, meningitis, polio, measles, mumps and rubella (MMR), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis), chickenpox, shingles, pneumonia and influenza.
  • What documents are necessary to travel to Polynesia?

    For EU and non-EU residents, contact the consulate of your country of origin for information on formalities.
  • How are meals organized on board?

    It is customary for private cruises with crew to pay in advance an amount of approximately 20%-25% of the rental amount (Advance Provisioning Allowance) in order to cover daily expenses (meals, drinks, fuel, port charges, taxes,...). A preference form will be sent to you to inform the crew of your specific wishes and needs. The captain and his crew will have made sure that your boat is ready to leave when you arrive on board. Note that the APA is an estimate of the operating cost and that part of this amount can be paid to you at the end of the charter, with the list of invoices and expenses incurred. However, some privatised cruises include this boarding box and full board, so check with your GlobeSailor advisor.
  • What do the skipper and hostess do?

    All the skippers we offer are registered and hold the necessary professional certificates. They speak fluent English. If you have any special requirements regarding the skipper, please let us know. The skipper is responsible for navigation and your safety on board. Feel free to participate with him in the manoeuvres, he will be happy to teach you the basics of navigation. Concerning the organisation, the skipper sleeps on the boat, either in a separate cabin or in the saloon. The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing dishes. On request, a hostess (or cook) can prepare your meals, clean the saloon, clean your cabins and more generally ensure that the boat is in good order. all our cabin cruises include the services, at a minimum, of a skipper and a hostess (unless otherwise specified in the contract)
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

    If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 25%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
