Merci encore .

Frequently asked questions

  • What documents do I need to travel to Croatia?

All French nationals can enter freely with a valid national identity card or passport (for any stay of less than 30 days).

Please note: National identity cards issued to adults between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2013 will still be valid 5 years after the expiry date (indicated on the back). Nonetheless, we strongly recommend that you use a passport rather than an identity card that has expired.

This information is subject to change due to the authorities of the country you are visiting. It is not unusual for border crossing rules to change. We therefore strongly advise you to refer to the "travel advice" section of the France diplomacy website: https://www.diplomatie.gouv.fr/fr/conseils-aux-voyageurs/.
Nationals of other countries should enquire about formalities at the consulate of their home country.
  • How is my transfer from the airport to the boat organized?

The transfer can be arranged by your GlobeSailor consultant and your base manager by taxi or minibus. Payment for this service is usually made to GlobeSailor at the time of the balance payment or directly on site in cash. Don't forget to send your arrival times to your consultant.
  • Is everyone on board English-speaking?

Please note that this cruise is not exclusive to English travelers. It is quite common to meet people of various nationalities on board as we offer cruises to international clientele - encouraging curious and enriching exchanges for both passengers and crew.
Crew members are multilingual and qualified to offer multilingual service.
  • How are the meals on board the boat organized?

During your cruise, you will benefit from the half-board package. The crew will prepare your meals using fresh local produce. Juices and alcoholic drinks are additional.
Please check the terms and conditions of your quotation. Your consultant will be able to send you the menus proposed on board on request. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to certain foods or if you follow a specific diet.
  • How are the bike tours organized and conducted?

The duration of the cycle routes is approximate, and depends on the conditions when you arrive. Itineraries may be changed due to weather conditions or group capabilities. Bike tours are usually done in the early morning after breakfast.

Rental bikes can be rented (100€ per person per week / electric bike: 150€ per person per week). Please inform your GlobeSailor advisor when booking.

If you bring your own bike, you will be asked to bring equipment including:
    • Biking shoes or sturdy sneakers
    • Refillable water bottle
    • Backpack
    • Sunglasses and cycling gloves
    • Sun protection (hat, sunscreen)
    • Light rain gear
    • Extra clothing layers
    • A bike lock, especially important when the bicycle is stored near the vessel or left unattended during swim stops
    • A repair kit
    • Tools for assembly/disassembly if needed
    • Helmet essential for your safety
Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended for all cycling activities. Whether you are going for a leisurely ride or a longer tour, a helmet provides essential protection and significantly reduces the risk of serious injury in the event of a fall or accident.
If a participant chooses not to wear a helmet, they must sign a helmet waiver acknowledging the risks and releasing the operator from any liability.

Passengers are responsible for the maintenance, assembly, disassembly, and
packing/unpacking of their bicycles. The shipowner is not liable for any damage to bicycles during tours or when transferring bicycles to the ship.

Passengers who rent bicycles accept full responsibility for their condition and agree to return them in the same condition. Any damage will be charged according to the shipowner's spare parts price list, available from the guide upon request.

The owner is not responsible for any damage to the bikes during the rides or the transfer of the bike to the boat.

Guests bringing their own e-bikes must also bring:
    • A battery charger
    • The battery key, to allow battery removal from the frame
If the battery cannot be removed, the bicycle becomes significantly heavier, which places unnecessary strain on the guides and crew.

    - Carry enough water and wear appropriate clothing for sun or rain protection.
    - Cycling is only allowed with closed-toe footwear – wearing flip-flops, sandals, or similar open-toe shoes is not permitted.
    - If you are joining the Katarina Line bike cruise with your bicycle, we kindly remind you to bring a lock for securing your bike. This is especially important when the bikes are placed in front of
the vessel or during swim stops from the mainland while on a bike route.
    - Clients bringing their e-bikes should also bring their battery chargers.
    - Clients bringing their e-bikes must also bring the battery key so the battery can be detached from the frame. Otherwise, the bike becomes significantly heavier, placing unnecessary strain on the guides and crew.
