The boat was perfect. We had a 42 cat with 3 cabins just for the two of us. Hadled easily, everything worked and was brand new. Sailing around Placencia is tricky as sutveys are incomplete and there are no markers on the reef like in French Polynesia. The base gave detailed instructions, a book guide, a map and inserted waypoints to maneuver in the maze of thr barrier reef. The base gives a captain to take the boat out and docks the boat on your return. We stayed anchored all nights even on the last night. A convenient stop is the Lark Caye, 2 hrs away from the basr and great fishing. As well as protection from most winds.

We decided to take a skipper at the last moment after looking at the many shallow waters around the reefs. Best decision we made. Our skipper Richard was 2nd to none! He showed us spots we would of never found by ourselves. He is a true ambassador of the ocean! Very knowledgeable about the local waters, sea life and the boat.

Il catamarano corrispondeva esattamente alla descrizione ricevuta al momento della prenotazione. Abbiamo avuto solo piccoli problemi minori durante i 14 giorni.
I cays e gli atolli visitati sono stupendi, purtroppo però durante molti giorni il cielo era coperto tutto il giorno, e la mancanza della luce del sole rendeva gli snorkeling meno belli.
Abbiamo avuto per 6 giorni uno skipper locale a bordo (obbligatorio per andare agli atolli esterni alla barriera e nei parchi marini) che conosceva perfettamente la zona, cosa che ci ha permesso di andare e ancorarci in posti in cui difficilmente avremmo potuto senza di lui. Una persona veramente smart e simpatica, che ha anche pescato per noi pesci e aragoste!

Croisière extraordinaire et sans soucis : le bateau est parfaitement conforme. Nous avons été divinement reçu par Pacome à Placencia ( et toute sa famille ! ). Beaucoup de gentillesse, de professionnalisme, de conseils. Seul le skipper était compliqué à gérer : un vrai professionnel, rien à redire mais lunatique. Il a fait le job. Mais le relationnel est compliqué. Je recommande vivement de bout en bout très efficaces et totalement réactifs
