The coastal town of St George is the perfect place to enjoy a sailing holiday. The harbour here is known as the Lagoon, and is formed from a sunken crater lake, and provides a picturesque natural haven to yachts and sailing boats. Nearby there is a wealth of historical buildings to visit and lots of great restaurants where you can try the excellent local cuisine, whilst gazing across the ocean. Make sure to visit the two forts of Fort Matthew and Fort George, offering exceptional views over the city, and notable for their part in many political and historic events.

We had a great time on our cruise out of Grenada. The captain did a nice job, and our hostess Pippa was top notch. The reefs did not have a tremendous amount of fish, except at the Tabago Keys. I would recommend this charter.

We had several date changes and challenges getting our team of 4 to commit over the course of 2 months. However, Vincent’s follow up was excellent and critical to making this charter a reality. At the base in Grenada, Davide was helpful, professional and invaluable providing local knowledge and tips for our route. The check out was professional and every question was answered promptly. Tatiana in the office was also incredibly helpful coordinating COVID shots, where to shop, arranging of Taxi’s and anything else we needed We wouldn’t hesitate to book with GlobeSailor for our next charter
