Arcachon Bay

Located in the Landes de Gascogne, Arcachon Bay is a 155 km ² part of the Atlantic Ocean. The Bay of Arcachon is known for the practice of oyster farming, fishing and boating. The coast is mostly flat and sandy which gives excellent opportunities for many water activities. The Bay of Acachon is an inland sea with lagoon-coloured water contrasting with white sand dunes.
