Don't miss it in Costa Brava

Costa Brava is the name given to the Catalan coast bathed by the Mediterranean Sea and bordered by the French Côte Vermeille to the north and by the Costa del Maresme to the south.
This steep coastline extends over about 220 kilometres of landscapes contrasting between wild coves, crystal clear waters, modern harbours and remote ‘calanques’ (rocky inlets).Featuring a multitude of small scattered localities and typical Mediterranean villages clinging to the mountains and descending to the calanques, the coastline of the Costa Brava will seduce you, both on land and at sea. Medieval cities, nature reserves, heavenly beaches and dream calanques contribute to the charm of this region, which is not very well known by French pleasure boaters.
Famous for its seaside resorts above all, this part of the Spanish coastline is a delight for sailors venturing here. It is a very beautiful sailing area, which enjoys a Mediterranean climate with an exceptional amount of sunshine and moderate rainfall.
The thermal wind offers a light breeze at night, allowing for pleasant, cool and sheltered anchorages. Weather conditions are ideal to serenely sail, with prevailing south-westerly and north-westerly winds of Beaufort Force 2 to 4. The Costa Brava is an easily accessible destination, where it is very pleasant to navigate between April and October.
