Over 20 metres long, this sumtuous gulet is built entirely out of wood. Take advantage of the interior space by relaxing in the lounge or having a drink at the bar. The solarium is ideal for relaxing and sunbahing. Enjoy the sunset while eating outside on the dining table. Masks and snorkels are also at your disposal to allow you to explore the seabed.

There are two double cabins and a "family suite" cabin, all air-conditioned. Sheets and bath towels are provided during your cruise, however beach towels are not included.

The friendly atmosphere and breathtaking scenery of Crete embodies what makes Greece such a beautiful country. Enjoy a night in Paleochora, relax on the beautiful beaches of Elafonissi and Kedrodassos and hike the Samaria Gorges. Your 8-day cruise around Crete will be a sailing vacation like no other.

DAY 1: Kolymbari port - Gramvoussa Castle
Board at 4pm and sail to the Balos lagoon. Take advantage of the secluded swimming area in the lagoon. Dinner on board and overnight in the cove.

Day 2 : Gramvoussa castle - Elafonissi Beach - Kedrodassos Beach - Paleochora Port
In the morning, climb the hill to visit the ruins of the Venentian fort of Gramvoussa. Followed by a swim, you will sail along the west coast of Crete to Elafonisi and Kedrodasos Beaches. At the end of the day, your gulet will anchor in front of a small port in Palechora. Known widely for its family atmosphere and entertainment, enjoy your free dinner in the taverns of the small seaside village. Overnight at port.

Day 3: Paleochora Port / Lissos Beach - Sougia
Feel free to visit the ruins of the Venetian castle that overlooks the city. Built around 1275 in Paleochora, it was destroyed by the pirate Barbarossa. The panorama from the castle allows you to see the entire city: Kafenion terraces, local crafts and the 2 beaches that border the city on each side. Enjoy your free lunch in the taverns. In the early afternoon, you will sail to Lissos, an archaeological site and cove only accessible by boat. Dinner and night on board.

Day 4: Lissos Beach - Island of Gavdos - Karaves port
The captain weighs anchor heading towards the southernmost point of Europe, the Island of Gadvos. Since the island is not buzzing with tourism, it is very calm and secluded. Lunch on board in a cove on the island. Free dinner and overnight at Karaves harbor.

Day 5: Island of Gavdos - Trypiti beach (southernmost point of Europe)
Sail around Gadvos, exploring the beaches. Have free lunch in a crossover tavern on a beach and a barbecue dinner on a beach. Overnight in a bay.

Day 6: Island of Gavdos - Marmara
You sail back to the southern coast of Crete crossing towards Agia roumeli, you will arrive at the Samaria Gorges, a World Biosphere Reserve. Test yourself and try to cross them! Free lunch in Agia roumeli. In the afternoon, slow sailing in front of coves including the famous Pavlos is followed by anchorage in Maramara. Captain’s dinner is at the tavern Dialeskari, night in the bay of Maramara.

Day 7 : Marmara - Sweet Water Beach - Loutro
Relax in Marmara in the morning, Sweet Water Beach is not far from there. Lunch on board. In the late afternoon you will be in Loutro, a small fishing port that is only accessible by boat. Dinner free and overnight in the quiet little bay.

DAY 8 : Loutro – Chora sfakion
In the morning, sail to the port of Chora Safkion. Breakfast on board and disembark at 10am.

  • Can I use those services as an addition to my cruise?

    YES!
    Our services are available to all clients who embark on our cruise. Our tailor-made offers are adapted to your needs and your budget.

    We have created two fully customisable offers:
    - Serenity Service: Booking of your flight tickets.
    - Extension Service: Booking of your accommodation (hotel, house, villa, etc.) and/or complementary activities such as excursions, guided tours, car rental, etc.

  • What documents do I need to travel to Greece?

    For EU residents, for a stay up to 30 days you will need a valid passport. For non EU residents, check with the consulate of their country of origin for information on formalities.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

    To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
    The booking will only be considered final once your down payment has been recieved (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
    The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

    If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 25%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
  • How does half board work?

    During your cruise, you benefit from the half board package, including breakfast and one meal (lunch or dinner) per day prepared with fresh and local products. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are not included. Check the terms and conditions of your quotation carefully. On request, your advisor can send you the menus proposed on board. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to any food or if you are on a special diet.
  • What does a skipper do? And what about a hostess?

    All the skippers which we offer are qualified, have the necessary professional licenses and speak fluent English. If you have any particular demands regarding a skipper make sure to let us know.
    The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Feel free to try out some of the manoeuvres with him; he will be happy to teach you the basics of sailing.
    Regarding sleeping arrangements, the skipper will sleep on board, either in a cabin or in the common area (saloon).
    The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. A hostess (or cook) will prepare your meals, clean the saloon area and the cabins and make sure the boat is kept tidy.
  • How are transfers from the airport to the boat organized?

    The transfer can be arranged by your GlobeSailor advisor and the base chief by minibus in the Chania area. Payment for this service is generally to be made to GlobeSailor at the time of payment of the balance or directly on site in cash. Don't forget to forward your arrival times to your advisor.
