Embark on an 8-day cruise to discover the splendours of Spain and Portugal. The full board package is ideal to enjoy your holiday without hassle. The crew will be there to take care of you and make your sailing experience as pleasant as possible. In order to better understand these two cultures and the many influences they have endured through the centuries, we will offer you daily optional excursions (Malaga, Gibraltar, Silves...).

53 metres long and 7 meters wide, the Harmony G is a modern yacht with an elegant design. Renovated in 2013, it has powerful engines and stabilizers that will make your cruise both pleasant and safe. With four decks, your time on board will be as comfortable as possible. On the main deck, there is the elegant dining room surrounded by large windows, allowing you to have a magnificent view while you dine. On the upper deck, you will find a lounge area ideal for relaxing whether you're enjoying a drink, reading a book or watching television. Also located on this level, the outdoor dining room offers an exceptional panoramic view. Take a dip in the pool on the swimming platform or sunbathe on a deckchair.

Your Cabin

This luxury yacht has 21 cabins (4 Category P, 8 Category A, 3 Category B and 6 Category C).
All cabins are air-conditioned (individually adjustable) and equipped with a television with DVD player, background music, telephone (for internal use only), mini safe, mini refrigerator, bathroom with shower, hair dryer and private toilet.

    These cabins are lcoated on the lower deck. The double cabins have one double bed or two twin beds. The triple cabins are equipped with two twin beds and a berth that can accommodate up to 3 adults.

Itinerary of your cruise

You will navigate between the history-laden landscapes of Spain and Portugal, two countries with very diverse architectural and cultural heritage. During your cruise you will stop in mythical cities (Seville, Monchique, Cadiz...), whose buildings have been influenced by many civilizations.

DAY 1: Malaga (Spain)
The captain will meet you at the port at 15:00. After boarding, the crew will serve you a welcome drink. It will be the perfect opportunity to get to know the other passengers. You will then be invited to the restaurant to enjoy your first meal of local specialties. Night at the quay.

DAY 2: Malaga (Spain)
We offer an optional day trip to discover Granada. Influenced over the centuries by many cultures (Carthaginian, Romanesque, Muslim...), this Andalusian city will show you its most beautiful monuments. You will pass by the legendary Alhambra Palace, built in the 14th century under the Nasrid dynasty. Its name which comes from the Arabic "Al Hamra" and means "the red", refers perfectly to the color of the stones of the building. Classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you will be amazed by the splendour of its gardens. Your tour of the city will continue to the Cathedral of Granada, with its Gothic and Baroque architecture. After some free time, you will return to the boat. Dinner and overnight in the port.

DAY 3: Malaga - Porto Banus - Gibraltar
The crew cast off to reach the Porto Banus marina. On arrival, you will have the possibility to visit Ronda (optional). This city, known as the cradle of bullfighting, was built on the top of a mountain, offering an unforgettable panoramic view. You will discover the charm of its old town, its incredible overlooking bridge, the Tajo gorge and its famous bullring that can accommodate up to 5000 people. Your excursion will end with the visit of a convent of the 16th century. You will be back on the boat for lunch. Take advantage of your free afternoon to jump into the water from the swimming platform and refresh yourself. In the early evening the ship will set course for Gibraltar (late arrival). Dinner at sea and overnight at the quayside.

DAY 4: Gibraltar - Seville
This morning, excursion (optional) to Gibraltar. A bus will drop you off at the top of the Rock, situated 426 meters above sea level. Don't forget your camera to capture this breathtaking view! Your visit continues inside the Rock, where you will stroll among the countless stalagmites and stalactites that line the limestone cave of St. Michael. You will then walk through the rock tunnels dug during the Second World War. At the end of the tour, you'll return to Main Street for a stroll and shopping. Around noon, the boat will set sail again for Seville. During the crossing, you will take refreshing swimming breaks. Dinner and overnight at sea.

DAY 5 : Seville
Today you are sailing on the Guadalquivir River, whose mouth is located west of the Strait of Gibraltar. Your arrival in Seville is scheduled for around 12:00 noon. After lunch, you will be able to take part in a new excursion (optional) to discover the capital of Andalusia and its artistic heritage. Your guide will take you through a maze of streets in search of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Seat and its famous minaret la Giralda, the Royal Palace of Alcázar and its sumptuous Andalusian gardens and the Park of Maria Luisa. You will then be free to explore the city as you wish. Dinner and overnight at the port.

DAY 6 : Seville - Jerez de la Frontera - Cadiz
Day trip (optional), to explore Seville and Jerez de la Frontera. The latter is especially known for its vineyards, horse breeding and traditional Flamenco. The old quarter of Jerez de la Frontera will reveal its most beautiful architectural heritage: the El Savador Cathedral built in the 17th century, the Alcázar (Castle) and its walls. Your journey then continues to Cadiz, a port city nestled on a peninsula. The ship and the passengers who have not taken part in the excursion will meet you directly there (departure from Seville at 8.30 pm). You will join the ship in the evening. Night at sea.

DAY 7: Portimao (Portugal)
You dock in Portimao around noon. We propose a new excursion (optional) that will allow you to visit Silves and Monchique. Once the capital of the Algarve, Silves is a historical town that was built in the 13th century. After crossing the walls, you will stop in front of the sumptuous Moorish castle, built in red sandstone. You will also be fascinated by its cathedral built on the site of a Moorish mosque. During your tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibitions in the archaeological museum. You will then head to Monchique, a small mountain town perched at an altitude of 450 metres. You will appreciate the architecture of its simple houses and their colourful windows and doors. Return to Portimao for the Captain's dinner. Night at the port.

DAY 8 : Portimao - Lisbon
You disembark at 09:00 and take a seat on a bus that will take you to Lisbon. The driver will drop you off in front of a hotel (the name will be given to you later) in the city around 12.30. Do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to extend your stay in Lisbon.

Important: On some dates the cruise is proposed in the direction Lisbon - Malaga. In this case, you will have an appointment at 13:00 in Lisbon and will disembark in Malaga around 09:00.

Please note: Tickets for the visit of the Alhambra Palace must be purchased at least 6 months in advance. This tour should therefore be booked as early as possible.

  • What documents are required for a trip to Spain & Portugal?

    All French nationals can enter freely with a valid national identity card or passport (for any stay of less than 3 months).

    Please note: national identity cards issued to adults between 1 January 2004 and 31 December 2013 will still be valid 5 years after the expiry date (indicated on the back). Nevertheless, we strongly recommend that you use a passport rather than an identity card whose expiry date has passed.

  • Who arranges the airlift to Malaga or Lisbon?

    Your plane tickets can be booked by the GlobeSailor team. You just have to specify it to your consultant when you book your cruise.
  • How are my transfers between the airport and the boat organized?

    Your transfers are not included in your cruise package, however they can be organized by your Globe Sailor consultant and the base manager by taxi or minibus. The payment of this service is generally to be made with GlobeSailor at the time of the payment of the balance or directly on the spot in cash. Don't forget to inform your adviser of your arrival time.
  • How are meals organised on board the boat?

    During your cruise, you benefit from the full board package, including breakfasts, lunches (buffet) and dinners. Water, tea and coffee (filter) are at your disposal all day long. Softs and alcoholic beverages are not included. Please check the terms and conditions of your quotation. Your advisor will be able to send you the menus proposed on board on request. They are often prepared using fresh local produce. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to certain foods or if you are on a special diet.
    NB: Meals are served in the restaurant as a single course and you are free to choose your table. During the day, you may arrive in casual attire (bathing suits and bare feet are not accepted; gentlemen must wear a T-shirt). In the evening, a more formal attire is recommended.
  • Guaranteed departure with a minimum of 12 participants?

    Your cruise is subject to a minimum number of 12 passengers. If this minimum is not reached, your Globe Sailor consultant will contact you at least 60 days before your departure date to propose a postponement.
  • What payments do I have to make to confirm my reservation?

    To confirm your booking, you must inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will make an option for you while you collect your deposit. The reservation will only be considered final once your deposit has been received (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card), from 30 to 50% of the amount of the reservation. A deposit of 100% will be required for any reservation made less than one month before departure. The balance is due 60 days before departure at the latest.
  • What happens in case of cancellation?

    If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 25%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
