Itinerary of your cruise

This interactive cruise is the perfect opportunity to get actively involved in life on board a yacht. Between learning to sail and discovering an exciting culture, here is an overview of what your journey will look like:

Map
Guadeloupe

Day 1: Guadeloupe
Join your crew in Pointe à Pitre to embark. You will be able to familiarise yourself with the boat and meet with the instructors/crew members to adapt the programme to your expectations.

Day 2 to 9: Navigations
Your sailing range will extend from Guadeloupe to the island of Saint-Martin. You will be able to improve your sailing skills and techniques (manoeuvres, anchoring, sail adjustment, reading of nautical charts...) in a magnificent setting nicknamed "the sailing paradise". The course will depend on the weather conditions and your preferences. There is no night sailing planned unless you wish to jump an island, which is possible.

  • Les Saintes have beaches, each more beautiful than the next: white sand, coconut palms, turquoise water. Sailing in such a beautiful setting will allow you to relax and enjoy your holiday while learning new sailing techniques.
  • La Désirade is one of the oldest lands in the Caribbean islands. It has the largest botanical garden in the Caribbean with over 3500 plants of 800 different species. An expert will show you around this magnificent and unmissable place.
  • Antiguais a true paradise for luxury travellers. As soon as you walk ashore you will be charmed by the small, local and typical markets. With its 365 beaches, this island is ideal for practising anchoring.
  • Barbudahas only one village. We recommend you avoid the tourist areas and instead discover the authenticity of this island. It is the perfect place for coastal sailing thanks to its many wild beaches and colonial remains.
  • Nevis is home to an active volcano which is almost 1000 metres high and is located in the centre of the island. Stop off to explore the town of Charlestown and its museum of the island's history.
  • St. Kittsis the largest part of the state of St. Kitts and Nevis. This place is home to monkeys that came from Africa hundreds of years ago. Since then, they have lived in the wild. Brimstone Hill Fortress is a well-preserved fortress complex with a remarkable view of the north of the island.
  • Saba is a perfect place to start scuba diving. You will find a number of moorings in the vicinity, which is an ideal opportunity to practise your trunk shots. For the more courageous, you can climb to the top of the famous staircase nicknamed "the ladder": a sporty and dizzying escapade.
  • St. Barths is next to the island "La Tortue". This is the right place to enjoy the idyllic beaches one last time before the end of the trip. Some of them are only accessible by boat, so it's up to you to take advantage of them and choose the right anchorage.
  • Anguilla is located in the north of the Lesser Antilles. If the wind allows it, you can explore this small island near St. Martin and enjoy the last walk in a dream setting.

Day 10: Saint-Martin
You will disembark on the French side of the island of Saint-Martin in Marigot or Grand Case.

Return Conveyance (optional)
We also offer you the return delivery (non-stop) of your boat between Saint-Martin and Guadeloupe (24 to 36 hours depending on the weather). This ecological alternative will allow you to discover navigation and night shifts. An intense and rich learning experience!
