With our 8-day fitness and wellness cruise in Greece, we offer you a complete fitness program that is accessible to all. You will participate in classes (about 1 to 2 hours a day) in pilates, fitness, stretching, body resistance, but also in discussions that will allow you to resume a healthy diet and daily habits. The magnificent Greek landscapes will perfectly illustrate your sessions to make them even more enjoyable.

During this unforgettable wellness cruise, you will sail alongside a professional crew aboard a pleasant and friendly Lagoon 450, a 14-meter long catamaran that offers all the comfort of a hotel. Inside, the saloon is spacious enough to accommodate all its guests and allow the hostess to prepare delicious local specialties. To relax at the end of the day, the cockpit and its sunbathing areas will be ideal. At the front, you will take advantage of the space to practice the pilates postures learned a few hours earlier. From the flybridge, you can admire the Cyclades islands.

Equipped with 4 comfortable and bright double cabins, this catamaran can accommodate up to 8 passengers. All cabins are equipped with portholes, storage space, a fan, bedside lamps and a bathroom with shower and private toilets.

Itinerary of your cruise

There's nothing better than a fitness cruise to prepare yourself for summer! You will sail from island to island, work out on the most beautiful beaches to perfect your beach body and relax in complete serenity. You will also discover Greek culture and traditions during your daily stopovers.

Day 1: Athens - Poros (about 30 nautical miles)
The crew and your coach Julie, await you at 13h30 at the Alimos Kalamaki marina. Your boat is located on pontoon 9, place 915-918. You will be welcomed with a welcome drink. Around 3pm, you will cast off for a first swim break in Aegina. A lunch prepared with local products will be served during the crossing. Then, Julie will give you a presentation of the week's activities. At the end of the day, you will anchor in Poros and participate in your first class of Pilates Powers, a mix of gentle gymnastics, muscle strengthening and cardio. You will have dinner and overnight on board.

Day 2: Poros - Spetsès (about 27 nautical miles)
You leave Poros and head for the Tselevinia Islands to sculpt your body using elastics, for a class of Body Resistance. Then you will head out to Spetsès, an island with a sweet jasmine scent. You will participate in a session of Stretching Californian which allows you to relax and work on your posture. You will end with a session of Sophrology, ideal to harmonize body and mind. After exploring Spetsès on foot or in a horse-drawn carriage, Julie will offer you a Apéro Talk around eating habits (good and bad). You will have dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3: Spetsès - Hermione (about 16 nautical miles)
A short distance from Spetsès, Zogeria, a white sandy beach surrounded by pines, where you will learn about Pilates Booty, bottom and abdominal exercises, which aim to refine the waist and firm the bottom. You will then have a class of HIIT special Boxing (High Intensity Interval Training). This intense training allows you to let off steam by eliminating as many calories as possible. You will end with a soothing Respirology session. After lunch, you will reach Hermione, an ancient city located in the south of the Peloponnese. You will get in the water for a session of Aqua Body Training. The resistance of water on moving muscles allows the body to be shaped lightly. Then, you will have free time to explore the old town. You will have dinner and overnight on board.

Day 4: Hermione - Dokos (about 5 nautical miles)
Breakfast and departure to Dokos, a wild island protected from tourism. Today, Julie prepared two fitness bar classes Barre fitness and Barre au sol inspired by classical dance. Based on muscle strengthening, dance makes training more fun, even for beginners. You will sit around the table to taste the dishes prepared by your hostess. In the afternoon, you can go out with fins, mask, and snorkel to observe the underwater fauna. Back on board, you will share a Apéro Talk and discuss the resumption of the sport. Julie will give you tips and tricks to stay motivated all year round! You will have dinner and overnight on board.

Day 5: Dokos - Hydra (about 7 nautical miles)
How about a little session of Pilates to start the day right? The crew weighed anchor to reach one of the most beautiful Greek islands, Hydra. Before disembarking, you will take a break Strechting and Sophrology that will allow you to be in great shape to explore this peaceful island where motorized vehicles are prohibited. Your day being free, you can climb to the top of the hill that dominates the city and admire the breathtaking view of the port. We hope you have some energy left because Julie is waiting for you to work on the HIIT special booty and legs ! Lunch and dinner locations are at your will.

Day 6: Hydra - Methana (about 22 nautical miles)
Your cruise continues a little further north, on the Methana peninsula. But before that, you will attend a session of Body Resistance and Stretching in Tandem. This method allows you to relax and stretch effectively with the help of your partner. You will reach the volcanic peninsula of Methana in the early afternoon. We will offer you an optional visit to the thermal springs of Methana and an ascent to its volcano. According to legend, the path was traced in an ancient lava flow that dates back several millennia. You will have dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7: Methana - Athens (about 25 nautical miles)
You will spend the morning around Methana and enjoy this magnificent setting to choose with your team members, the course you want to do. Julie will then propose a session of Stretching and Sophrology for this beautiful trip! After lunch, it will be time to set sail again for Athens. During the crossing, you will do a Apéro Talk assessment of this sports cruise. You will talk about your feelings, the benefits of the courses, your future resolutions.... You will dock at the marina around 6pm. We recommend a short getaway to the old town to visit the acropolis and its archaeological treasures. You will have dinner in a local restaurant and overnight on board.

Day 8 : Athens
It's time to say goodbye to the crew and your coach. You will leave with peace of mind with tips for a healthier daily life and exercises to replicate at home to keep your body toned all year round. You will disembark after breakfast, around 9am.

Frequently asked questions

  • Who is your coach Julie?

    Your classes will be led by Julie Pujols-Benoit, a state-certified coach in fitness, bodybuilding and Pilates. Julie has been teaching for more than 10 years in Parisian studios and gives classes on the website versionfemina.fr
    In addition, she is a Wellness, Health and Lifestyle journalist in several magazines (ELLE, Paris Match, and Version Fémina). You can also find your coach in his book "Pilates Booty: Pour un ventre plat et des fesses de Bombe" published by Solar.
  • What does a skipper do? And what about a hostess?

    All the skippers which we offer are qualified, have the necessary professional licenses and speak fluent English. If you have any particular demands regarding a skipper make sure to let us know.
    The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Feel free to try out some of the manoeuvres with him; he will be happy to teach you the basics of sailing.
    Regarding sleeping arrangements, the skipper will sleep on board, either in a cabin or in the common area (saloon).
    The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. A hostess (or cook) will prepare your meals, clean the saloon area and the cabins and make sure the boat is kept tidy.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

    To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
    The booking will only be considered final once your down payment has been recieved (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
    The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

    If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 25%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
  • How does half board work?

    During your cruise, you benefit from the half board package, including breakfast and one meal (lunch or dinner) per day prepared with fresh and local products. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are not included. Check the terms and conditions of your quotation carefully. On request, your advisor can send you the menus proposed on board. Please inform us as soon as possible if you are allergic to any food or if you are on a special diet.
  • How is my transfer from the airport to the boat organised?

    Don't forget to forward your arrival times to your advisor. You must respect the boat's departure times. When you arrive in Athens, you just have to take a taxi to Marina Alimos (about 30min). A boarding card will be sent to you with the location of the boat.
  • What documents do I need to travel to Greece?

    For EU residents, for a stay up to 30 days you will need a valid passport. For non EU residents, check with the consulate of their country of origin for information on formalities.
