Itinerary

Map

Created from under water volcanoes, discover these islands which emerged onto the surface of the earth more than 2 million years ago. Lovers of nature and adventure, what are you waiting for?

Day 1 - Lipari
This afternoon, embark on your sailboat at Lipari, the largest of the Eolian Islands. The historic centre of Lipari is dominated by the chateau constructed on the headland: the oldest fortifications date back to the 4th Century BC. During your evening try some of the local specialities and enjoy the wonderful Sicilian atmosphere.

Day 2 – Lipari - Panarea
After breakfast your captain will sail towards the bay of Pumice to the north of Lipari. You can swim in the crystal clear waters and relax on one of the beaches of pure white sand. Enjoy lunch on board and then head towards the island of Panarea, which is also known as the 'fashion island'. It is the smallest island of the archipelago and in the summer it welcomes many of the Italian and European elite.

Day 3 - Panarea – Stromboli
In the morning you will leave Panarea and head in the direction of the small rocky islands of Basiluzzo and Lisca Bianca. Sail towards the island of Stromboli and admire the volcanic eruptions and the small village. During the night the smoke from Stromboli is a real landmark for sailors, so much so that it is known as the lighthouse of the Mediterranean.

Day 4 - Stromboli – Salina
Stroll the small streets and discover the traditional village of Stromboli and its little shops. Your skipper will then bring you to your next stop: a diving session close to the rock of Strombolicchio. Then you can simply relax on one of the wonderful beaches on the other side of the island. In the afternoon, sail towards the island of Salina.

Day 5 – Salina - Filicudi
The morning is for you to explore the town and beautiful natural landscape, or head along the coast. Make the most of this time to explore the little town of Lingua and its many caves and natural delights. Then your sailboat will take you towards Filicudi for dinner. Moor for the night near to the village of Pecorini.

Day 6 - Filicudi – Milazzo
Sometimes called the island of artists, Filicudi is a place which has inspired many writers and painters. After having tried the best Cannoli in town and going for a relaxing swim around the rock at La Canna, your captain will then bring you towards Milazzo, passing by an impressive channel between the island of Lipari and Vulcano. You will arrive as the sun is setting.

Day 7 – Millazo - Vulcano – Lipari
Your last day will be spent on Vulcano, one of the most fascinating islands of the archipelago. Its smoking crater creates a unique and particular atmosphere, its power and potential will tickle your senses. Dont miss the chance to climb to the top of the volcano and see the hot mud baths which attract many visitors every year. You will then spend your evening at Lipari.
