The BALI 4.0 is characterized by a large cockpit/ saloon area, totally open and accessible by a large folding glass door, allowing you to easily switch from cosy to lounging mode with panoramic views of the sea! In place of the traditional trampoline lies a cockpit with a dining area and a large sunbathing area of 18 m².

Itinerary of your cruise

Discover the Seto Sea by catamaran. Enjoy a getaway thought to make you visit Japan. Eight days of total immersion from the port of Uno, your cruise will be organized between visits to cultural monuments and discovery activities of Japanese traditions.

DAY 1 - Uno port - Inujima - Ushimado
Upon boarding, the boat and its crew will be presented before leaving for Inujima. You will get the chance to visit the Inuvima Seirensho art museum, the Benesse art site, and explore the island. The next stop in Ushimado will give you a tour of the city before enjoying a traditional dinner on board.

DAY 2 - Ushimado - Bozejima
After breakfast, you will stop at Bôzejima, the fishermen's island. You will discover its small port and its traditional fishing boats full of colors, ornaments and flags. You will then have the option to visit the statue of Benzaïten or go on the expedition of the 'cultural wonders' of the island, and possibly even an outing with a fisherman who will introduce you to the Japanese fishing techniques followed by a barbecue.

DAY 3 - Bôzejima - Shôdoshima
Navigation to Shodoshima Island, where you can spot wildlife endemic to the mountain. After lunch, explore the stunning coastline. In the afternoon, uncover local traditions and lifestyles when you visit authentic local villages. Combine culture and fun with a hike in the Kankakei gorge, a key part of Japan's cultural heritage.

DAY 4 - Shôdoshima - Megijima
After a short cruise to Tonosho, disembark for a short walk to Angel Road, the island of lovers. Enjoy a morning here before departing to Megijina where you will find a unique culture. A guided tour, kayak excursion and snorkeling or trekking will keep you busy..

DAY 5 - Megijima - Takamatsu - Honjima
Your first stop of the day will be Takamatsu, capital of Kagawa on the big island of Shikoku. Here you will be met with paradisiacal scenery, and you will have the chance to visit the little train, 'Kotoden'. After lunch, your cruise will head on towards Honjima, passing near the Great Seto Bridge.

DAY 6 - Honjima - Kujirajima
You will have the morning to spend in Honijma however you wish; relaxing or exploring at your own pace. In early afternoon you will depart for Kujirajima, where you will encounter traditional Japanese homes. Spend the evening sharing a barbecue under a starry night sky.

DAY 7 - Kujirajima - Naoshima
Your last day will be spent in Naoshima however you wish, the yacht will moor until the next morning and you are free to explore the area... visit the Naoshima Benesse Art Site or bike ride along the coast.

DAY 8 - Naoshima - Uno port
After breakfast you will disembark your boat at Uno Port.

Frequently asked questions

  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

    If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 25%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
  • What does a skipper do? And what about a hostess?

    All the skippers which we offer are qualified, have the necessary professional licenses and speak fluent English. If you have any particular demands regarding a skipper make sure to let us know.
    The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Feel free to try out some of the manoeuvres with him; he will be happy to teach you the basics of sailing.
    Regarding sleeping arrangements, the skipper will sleep on board, either in a cabin or in the common area (saloon).
    The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. A hostess (or cook) will prepare your meals, clean the saloon area and the cabins and make sure the boat is kept tidy.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

    To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
    The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
    The balance should be paid to GlobeSailor no later than one month before boarding. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor prior to departure.
  • What is the time difference in Japan?

    Japan is +9 hours ahead of the UK (GMT).
  • What documents are needed to travel to Japan?

    A visa is obligatory for a stay of more than 3 months. The presentation of a valid passport valid until the date of return) is mandatory to enter the area. Foreign nationals entering Japanese territory are required to take biometric data. At the time of admission formalities, Japanese immigration proceeds to take fingerprints and a photographic portrait (front only).
