Day 1 - Mahé – St. Anne Marine Park
Step on board your boat at Mahé at around 13h, then you will sail the short distance to the Marine National Park at Sainte Anne where you can admire the exceptional scenery and sand banks.

Day 2 - St. Anne Marine Park – Cocos Island - La Digue
After visiting the Marine National Park at Sainte Anne you will then sail to Cocos Island, and your boat will moor in front of the picturesque La Digue Port, or the next one along, depending on the weather conditions.

Day 3 - La Digue
You have the chance to visit the island on bike (at an extra cost) which is one of the most beautiful in all of the Seychelles. Your catamaran will stop at Grande Anse or on the other side of the island towards Anse Petite Cours, depending on the weather.

Day 4 - La Digue – Cousin – Baie St. Anne (Praslin)
Disembark at Praslin at 14h30.

    Meine Segelreise auf den Seychellen war einfach traumhaft. Eigentlich hätte die Reise auf der Mojito 82 stattfnden sollen, allerdings wurde ich wenige Tage vor der Abreise auf die Eleuthera 60 upgegradet. Die Vorfreude war schon riesig. Ich wurde dann sehr freundlich von der zuständigen Dame bei Dream Yacht Charter auf Eden Island begrüsst und durfte mich kurz darauf zusammen mit den anderen Gästen auf dem Weg zum Katamaran machen, wo wir vom Skipper und Koch herzlich empfangen wurden. Schon bald ging die Reise los. Es waren vier wundervolle Tage an Bord. Die Crew hat sich durchwegs grosse Mühe gegeben und uns jeden Tag beim Frühstück sehr kompetent über die anstehende Route informiert. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir haben einige spannende Informationen über die Region erhalten und wurden täglich kulinarisch verwöhnt. U.a. haben wir den St. Anne Marine Park, La Digue und Cousin Island besucht. Am 2. Tag gab es vor Félicité Island einen Schnorchel-Zwischenstop. Das Schnorcheln kaum auch an den verbleibenden Tagen nie zu kurz. Die letzte Nacht hatten wir vor Praslin geankert, wo wir am frühen morgen beim Schnorcheln Delfine entdeckt hatten. Ein unglaublich schönes Erlebnis und sicherlich ein Highlight meiner Seychellen-Reise. Der Segeltörn hat mir so gut gefallen, dass ich meinen Aufenthalt am liebsten verlängert hätte. Das war zwar mein 1. Segeltörn, aber wird sicherlich nicht mein Letzter sein. Meine Erwartungen wurden bei weitem übertroffen. Frequently asked questions

  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

    If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 25%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

    To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
    The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
    The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding, either to the base or to GlobeSailor. Mandatory extras and options will be payable locally. Be sure to check with your advisor or the base prior to departure.
  • What currency is used in the Seychelles?

    The local currency in the Seychelles is the Seychellois Rupee. In June 2015 1 € = 14.40 SCR and 10 SCR = 0.70 €.
    It is possible to pay in Euros or Dollars for accommodation, transport, some restaurants and tourist sites however of course the change will be given to you in rupees.
    Credit cards, Visa and Mastercard principally, are excepted in most places, as well as travelers cheques in larger businesses.
    You cannot leave the Seychelles with more than 2,000 Rupees in cash.
  • What documents are needed in order to travel to the Seychelles?

    You do not need a Visa for stays of up to 3 months in the Seychelles, however you should have a valid passport, be able to prove you have sufficient funds and present a return ticket.
