Welcome aboard the Callisto! Renovated in 2016, the boat features 17 cabins offering a comfortable and friendly living space. The lounge/bar is ideal for relaxing while the outdoor dining room is the perfect place to gaze at the stars. Indulge in swimming and sunbathing with no effort as there are an array of deck chairs and a swimming platform at the rear of the boat.

Itinerary of your cruise

The captain and crew take care of everything aboard the Callisto, relax and enjoy your cruise along the coast of the Balkan Peninsula. Extended stopovers during the daytime give you the opportunity to explore these four countries at your own pace. Visit the historic cities, indulge in traditional cuisine or take a hike to get a better view of the incredible landscape… it’s all up to you!

∼ Itinerary: Greece to Croatia ∼

Day 1: Athens (Greece)
Your boarding is scheduled between 14:00 and 15:00 (departure at at 17:00). As the ship begins its journey through the Gulf of Corinth, you will have a chance to meet other passengers and the crew over a welcome cocktail as the ship sails towards Elafonisos. After dinner, you will spend your first night on board the boat.

Day 2: Elafonisos (Greece)
This morning, you will arrive on the island of Elafonisos, a heavenly island in the south of the Peloponnese. You can swim all day long and laze on the sandy beaches in complete tranquillity. You will also enjoy the walk along the coast and its beautiful landscapes. You will leave at around 5pm in the direction of Zakynthos. Dinner and overnight at sea.

Day 3: Zakynthos - Céphalonie (Greece)
On the third day, you will arrive at the beautiful beach of Navagio (the beach of a shipwreck), considered by some to be the most beautiful beach in the world. Indeed, with its turquoise water, it is one of the most photographed beaches in Greece. You will have free time to explore the island and stroll at your own pace along the coast. Lunch and departure for Kefalonia, an island that gained notoriety following the filming of "Captain Corelli's Mandolin" with Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz. Dinner and overnight at sea.

Day 4: Antipaxos - Corfu (Greece)
You drop anchor at Antipaxos, one of the smallest Ionian islands, for an early morning swim. Upon arrival on the island, you can take a walk through the pine forest or relax on the beach. After lunch you will sail to Corfu (arrival in the evening). In front of this picturesque scenery you will enjoy a Greek themed evening. Dinner and overnight at the marina.

Day 5 : Corfu - Saranda (Albania)
This morning our optional excursion to explore the historic centre of Corfu (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), with its winding lanes and Byzantine churches. We also offer a second excursion to admire the Corfu countryside and its picturesque villages. Lunch on board and departure to the beautiful town of Saranda on the Albanian Riviera. The optional excursion of the day will allow you to visit the exceptional archaeological site of Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This ancient city founded by the Greeks was occupied by different civilizations before being abandoned in the Middle Ages. Back on the boat, you set sail for Montenegro. Dinner and overnight at sea.

Day 6 : Budva (Montenegro)
When you wake up, you will be able to admire the beautiful Montenegrin coastline. You will arrive in Budva in the afternoon. This medieval town, nicknamed the Montenegrin Saint-Tropez, has seen its architecture influenced by the Venetian occupation. Your cruise continues through the beautiful Kotor Mouths and its impressive mountains. Dinner and overnight at sea.

Day 7 : Kotor - Dubrovnik (Croatia)
This morning you will arrive at the magnificent bay in Kotor. This day would be dedicated to the exploration of the medieval city of Kotor. You could discover the city on your own or take advantage of the optional excursion. In any case, you will be able to walk through the maze of streets and see historic monuments including the famous cathedral of Saint Nicolas. Afterwards, you will sail back to Dubrovnik, also known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic". Dinner and overnight in port.

Day 8 : Dubrovnik
Your disembarkation is scheduled after breakfast at around 9 am.

∼ Itinerary: Croatia to Greece ∼

Day 1: Dubrovnik (Croatia) - Kotor (Montenegro)
Your boarding on the Callisto is scheduled between 2 and 3 pm. You will be warmly welcomed by the captain and his crew. You will get to know them and the other passengers over a welcome cocktail. After settling into your quarters and familiarising yourself with the ship, you will set sail for Kotor and cross the impressive Kotor Mouths. You will have dinner in front of this sublime medieval city classified by UNESCO. Overnight in port.

Day 2: Kotor - Budva (Montenegro)
Morning departure to Budva and its remarkable historical heritage. As an option, you will have the opportunity to explore this fortified city occupied by the Venetians for three centuries, as well as the museum city of Cetinje. The latter is considered the historical capital of Montenegro. Lunch on board and sail south to Albania. Dinner and overnight at sea.


Day 3: Budva - Saranda (Albania) - Corfu (Greece)
This morning, you disembark in Albania, in Saranda. This small port city is home to many monuments and cultural sites. Among these is the archaeological site of Butrint, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which you will discover during an optional excursion. At the end of the day, you set sail again to reach the island of Corfu. Located in the Ionian Sea, and only a few nautical miles from the Albanian coast, the navigation will be short. Dinner at sea and night in the port.

Day 4: Corfu - Antipaxos (Greece)
Today, the captain sets sail for Antipaxos for a relaxing break. You can enjoy the clear waters for swimming and the wide sandy beaches for relaxing in the sun. After lunch, your journey continues to Kefalonia. Dinner and overnight at sea.

Day 5 : Paxi - Kefalonia (Greece)
You will arrive at the port of Kefalonia, Sami, in the morning. This little corner of paradise that was used as a filming location for the movie ''Captain Corelli's Mandolin'' with Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz. The island is also known for its beautiful national park of Mount Ainos and its forest of fir trees. You will discover superb mountainous landscapes. Dinner and night at quay.

Day 6 : Kefalonia - Zakynthos (Greece)
Today the captain leaves the port and sets sail for Zakynthos. You will enjoy its beautiful Navagio beach (also called the shipwreck beach) with its turquoise water and fine sand. It is a perfect place to swim and relax. Back on the boat, the crew prepares a delicious barbecue (weather permitting). In the afternoon, you will sail back to Elafonisos. Dinner and overnight at sea.

Day 7 : Elafonisos (Greece)
Why not start the day with a refreshing swim on the heavenly beach of Elafonisos? Its clear, shallow waters will transport you to the Caribbean. After this relaxing moment, you will sail one last time to Athens (arrival at night).

Day 8 : Athens (Greece)
Your disembarkation is scheduled after breakfast, in the Zea marina (Athens), around 9 am.

  • What currency is used on board?

    The official currency on board is the euro.
  • What documents do I need to for my cruise?

    For EU residents, a valid passport or Id card is needed. Nationals of other countries should check with the consulate of their country of origin for information on formalities.
  • What happens if I need to cancel my cruise?

    If you wish to make a cancellation, you should contact your GlobeSailor advisor as soon as possible. Whatever the circumstances, you will be charged the following cancellation fees, depending on when the cancellation is made: up to 90 days before departure = 25%; 89 to 60 days before departure = 50%; 59 to 30 days before departure = 75%; 29 days or less before departure = 100% of the total cost of your booking. We recommend that you sign up for cancellation insurance with your personal insurance provider.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

    To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
    The booking will only be considered final once your down payment has been recieved (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
    The balance should be paid no later than one month before boarding.
  • What happens if there isn't 12 passengers?

    The departure of your cruise is subject to a minimum number of 12 passengers. In the event that this minimum is not reached, your Globe Sailor advisor will contact you no later than 60 days before your departure date, in order to propose an extension of the date.
  • What is the logbook?

    The on-board program is delivered daily to your cabin. You will find the schedules of your day: excursions, equipment, meals, activities... We suggest you read it carefully, and always have it with you. In stopover, it will also be of invaluable help (sailing times, boat contacts in case of emergency, useful addresses...).
  • How are meals organized on the boat?

    During your cruise, you benefit from the full board formula, including breakfasts, lunches (buffet) and dinners. Water, tea and coffee (filter) are at your disposal all day long. Check the terms and conditions of your quote. Your adviser will be able to send you the menus proposed on board. They are often prepared with fresh and local products. Please inform us as soon as possible if you have any specific dietary requirements!
    NB: Meals served in restaurants are single course and you are free to choose your table. During the day, you can arrive in casual attire (bathing suits and bare feet are not accepted; men must wear a T-shirt). In the evening, a more dressed outfit is recommended.
  • Who takes care of my transport to Dubruvnik?

    Your flight tickets are not included in your booking but can be booked by the GlobeSailor team. All you have to do is specify it to your advisor when you book your cruise.
  • How can I arrange my transfer from the airport to the boat?

    After you have made your booking the base manager will contact you to give you more information on your cruise. Make sure you confirm what time you will be arriving and also your flight details. A taxi or minibus can meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the boat at an extra cost.
