Map
Croatia

Day 1 - Trogir - Milna (Brac island)
Embark on your catamaran in the afternoon. Once on board, your captain will head in the direction of Milna, on the island of Brac. This short navigation will allow you to get to know the crew members and the catamaran itself. You will then moor for the night here.

Day 2 - Milna (Brac Island) - Komiza (Vis Island)
In the morning, the beach of Zlatni Rat is waiting for you; here you can unwind, relax and enjoy water sports. Want to discover some of the history? Visit the monastery at Blaca, the sacred and religious sites of Postira or head in discovery of the Bol cave. In the evening your captain will bring you back towards Komiza, a small passenger port with beautiful old houses dotted along the coastline.

Day 3 - Komiza (Vis Island) – Vis
It is now time to head towards the island of Vis, renowned for its tranquil atmosphere and its 700 hectares of vineyards where you can try the delicious white wine (vujava) and the red wine (plavac). Built in 937BC the town of Vis has retained its Mediterranean charm and ancient ruins.

Day 4 – Pakleni Islands - Hvar
Sail for the islands of Pakleni, situated to the south-west of the island of Hvar. They have many quiet coves where you can enjoy water sports. Towards the evening you will head towards Hvar, one of the most captivating and well known of the Adriatic islands. It is an elongated and mountainous island, with numerous historical sites including the fortess which is a must see sight due to its ancient prison and archeological finds.

Day 5 – Hvar – Stari Grad (Hvar island)
Today you will leave Hvar for Stari Grad. It is one of the UNESCO world heritage sites and its town is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing walk amongst the orchards and vineyards.

Day 6 – Stari Grad (Hvar island) – Uvala Lucice (Brac island)
In the evening, you will head for Lucice. If you wish , there is a great diving spot in a cove along the west coast of the bay. The water in the port is a turquoise blue colour due to the sandy sea beds and a nearby pine forest.

Day 7 – Uvala Lucice (Brac Island) – Trogir
Disembark in the morning. Today is dedicated to visiting the town of Trogir, also a UNESCO world heritage site. The historic centre is a must see, and you should also go and visit the north port where you can see a sculpture of the so-called protector of the town. • What does a skipper do? And what about a hostess?

All the skippers which we offer are qualified, have the necessary professional licenses and speak fluent English. If you have any particular demands regarding a skipper make sure to let us know.
The skipper is in charge of navigation and your safety on board. Feel free to try out some of the manoeuvres with him; he will be happy to teach you the basics of sailing.
Regarding sleeping arrangements, the skipper will sleep on board, either in a cabin or in the common area (saloon).
The skipper is not in charge of cooking or washing up. A hostess (or cook) will prepare your meals, clean the saloon area and the cabins and make sure the boat is kept tidy.
  • How can I arrange my transfer from the airport to the boat? What about provisioning?

After you have made your booking the base manager will contact you to give you more information on your cruise. Make sure you confirm what time you will be arriving and also your flight details. A taxi or minibus will meet you at the airport and bring you directly to the boat.
Provisioning and meals will be taken care of by your crew. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements (vegan, vegetarian etc…) make sure to let the base manager know.
  • What payments must I make in order to confirm my booking?

To confirm your booking you should inform your GlobeSailor advisor who will put an option (hold) on the cabin for a certain time until we receive your down payment.
The booking will only be considered final once we have received your down payment (by bank transfer, Paypal or credit card) which is 50% of the total amount. A 100% down payment is required for any booking made less than one month before departure.
