Just finished a fantastic week in Sardinia and Corsica. The charter company were excellent. They were helpful and always responded quickly to any questions. Our boat was a 2019 42 Lagoon, so really comfortable and well equipped. I loved that the company provided some basics in the boat, such as spices, seasoning, cloths, soap, etc. Tommi, our skipper, made our holiday. His priority was our safety and comfort and he did everything possible to make sure we did the things that were important to us. His expert knowledge of the area meant we saw some really amazing places, often the first to arrive, so managing to secure some great anchors. He also responded quickly to the changing winds, making sure we used them to our advantage, or just finding a secluded bay to wait them out. This is my second experience with globesailor and they were as good as last time. I couldn’t recommend them, or our charter company, highly enough.

Our boat was over 20 years old with a refit four years ago. It was in excellent condition. Obviously very well maintained. Our only minor complaint was that the fridge unit didn't work without either shore power or engine running. We discovered this by smelling spoiled food a few days into the cruise. The Sunsicily team was very efficient. Boat briefing was thorough. However this is the first charter I've done where there was no chart briefing. We took a leisurely two weeks to visit the seven Aeolian islands, spending a couple days on most of them. This turned out to be a wonderful approach as we were able to hike and explore many more places than would have been possible if we rushed through a 7 day itinerary. And these islands are spectacular! We had extraordinary surprises everywhere we went. One of our most beautiful cruises ever!

The 5-yr old catamaran was ready early and in good condition. The Olbia base staff had someone on hand to walk us through all the boat systems. They also provided a skippers meeting where we reviewed the different destinations and the upcoming weather for that week. So we were able to sail away and spend the 1st night at a beautiful anchorage just east of Olbia. Everything worked as intended including some of the typical problem items like the dinghy outboard engine, the generator and air conditioner. About the only issue we encountered all week was the water maker tripping a fuse but we were able to reset the fuse and it continued working. Our impression is that the base staff is very professional and stay on top of the maintenance and cleaning of their boats.
